When you hire musicians to play at your wedding reception, you may have a variety of other musical needs: Processional and Recessional; music for the ceremony; Cocktail music; dinner music; dance music. The simplest solution is to book as many of these needs with the same musicians.

The METRO band is the ideal band for all of your musical needs. You'll be able to relax knowing you are dealing with reliable, experienced musicians who will understand exactly the ambiance you want for your ceremony. We are a versatile, high quality six-piece band specializing in both sophisticated listening music and upbeat dance tunes. Here are some of the other musical services that we offer:

SOLO PIANO MUSIC, or PIANO and VOICE is often needed during the wedding ceremony, or as your guests are arriving and entering the wedding site or reception area. Jeff Smith is an excellent pianist with a bachelor's degree in piano performance. He can provide electronic keyboards if no acoustic piano is available. Lenny Landry is a graduate of the highly esteemed Guitar Institute of Technology. In combination with either or both of the afore mentioned musicians, you could choose to have one of the finest vocalists in Northern California, Rachelle Byrne. She can sing any song you choose for the ceremony, or later for your first dance.
SOLO GUITAR MUSIC can lend a casual jazz element before or during dinner, or before the dancing begins. Our guitarist, Lenny Landry, is an accomplished jazz player with a wide variety of instrumentals in his repertoire, including well known jazz standards, as well as movie and TV themes.
DUOS are another background music possibility. We can supply piano and bass, guitar and flute, piano and guitar or any combination of the members of METRO - all of which can create a warm and intimate setting. PIANO, BASS and DRUMS trio music offers jazz in a listening environment. Adding our bassist, Brett Palm, and drummer, Ralph Kolarik, to the keyboards brings a new feature to your wedding. With the addition of Lenny Landry on guitar, Alastair Ingram on Saxophone and flute, and our soulful lead vocalist, Rachelle Byrne, the trio becomes a terrific six-piece dance band. Whether your party calls for rock, R&B, west coast swing, country or ballroom dance styles, we've got it covered, and we do it exceptionally well. METRO provides the right mix of music for all occasions and all age groups.

METRO offers a range of musical services that are centered around the cohesive METRO band, but are appropriate for other musical needs where the full band might not be necessary. We can also add to the core group as needed with horn section, male vocalist or even dance instruction. We augment our band to suit your needs.
